Lady Hanging Laundry 

The people look as if they are climbing a latter to do laundry. The viewers focus is on the person on the latter hanging the clothes. The photo is expressive. The photo makes us feel airy, or enlightened. The picture makes us think about doing laundry. It looks like the lady is hanging up laundry, to let it dry. The photographer mainly uses colors to bring out things. The photographer uses realism to express how some people do laundry, in real life. He wants to express a way of doing laundry. It seems to me that the photographer wanted to show something that is used in everyday lifestyles.
